I started tinkering with effects pedals and electronics
back in the mid 80s... a copy of the Craig Anderton
Electronics Projects for Musicians showed me it could be
done, and several trips to Radio Shack and nearly $100
later I had a working tube sound fuzz that I built myself.
From there I slowly worked my way up to guitar
electronics and tube amps.

I currently own a pretty good representation of the
Randall Modular Amp Family: An RM4 with RT 2/50
power amp, 2 RM100 heads, RM50 head, and RM20
combo and head along with a 2x12 MTS cabinet. I also
gig and rehearse with these amps, and modifications I
do are from using them for recording, rehearsing, and
gigging. I perform all mods myself, and test them too.
Most are from things that I wanted out of the gear that
stock wasn't happening, and sometimes I get a "can you
do this?" email or call. Usually I can accomodate.
